Largest Multifamily Affordable Housing Rooftop Solar Project in Montgomery County

A 1.97 MW rooftop solar and energy-efficient roof upgrade at Seneca Village, a 684-unit affordable housing complex. The project was financed through a partnership between Montgomery County Green Bank, Inclusive Prosperity Capital, NYCEEC, and Virginia Community Capital, and is projected to save more than 2.5 million kWh of energy annually while reducing energy costs and approximately 2,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year.
