Montgomery County Green Bank and Inclusive Prosperity Capital partnered to finance a 1.97 MW rooftop solar project at Seneca Village, a 684-unit affordable housing complex in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The project combines solar installations with energy-efficient roof upgrades. It is projected to generate more than $300,000 in annual savings, reduce energy use by 2.58 million kWh, and avoid 2,000 metric tons of carbon emissions annually.

A $2,350,000 predevelopment loan supports a 340-unit, 100% affordable housing development, with NYCEEC as the lead lender, funding half the loan alongside TruFund Financial Services. The all-electric building is designed to Passive House standards with on-site solar, and its ground floor will house a performing-arts center run by the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance.

Finance New Orleans supported the $87.6 million renovation of Tivoli Place, an affordable senior housing community in downtown New Orleans. The 163-unit development includes accessible housing, central HVAC, rooftop and structured solar arrays, Energy Star appliances, LED lighting, and water-saving fixtures. The project combines affordable housing with energy efficiency and sustainability improvements, creating more comfortable, resilient, and environmentally friendly homes for seniors.

MCCB’s two demonstration-program deals, seeded with $20 million from a state environmental trust, support deep energy retrofits for affordable and mixed-income housing. Brian J. Honan Apartments received an $8 million loan for a 50-unit property, targeting 62% lower energy use and 51% lower carbon emissions. Treehouse at Easthampton Meadow received $5 million for a 60-unit property, targeting reductions of 51% and 40%, respectively.

Connecticut Green Bank's Solar MAP program installed solar photovoltaic systems at seven municipal buildings in Manchester, including six schools. The town now saves more than $100,000 a year in energy costs, adding up to roughly $2.1 million over the life of the power purchase agreements — a 33% average discount compared to standard grid power rates.

DC Green Bank committed $2.6 million toward a $20 million financing — alongside Amalgamated Bank ($10.4M) and Aligned Climate Capital ($7M) — for a 6.1-megawatt community solar project across seven warehouse rooftops on V Street NE. It will serve over 1,000 households citywide, saving them $7.5 million on electric bills over 20 years while avoiding 110,000 metric tons of emissions.

Inclusive Prosperity Capital is financing Louisiana's first community solar project, sponsored by Together New Orleans — a coalition of faith, labor, and community groups — on land owned by the Sisters of the Holy Family. Providing construction, bridge, and permanent financing, IPC leads a lender cohort including the UCC Cornerstone Fund and Pelican Community Capital (formerly Louisiana Clean Energy Fund), while cutting energy costs for low- and moderate-income residents.
